DeleteHi everyone!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you Roberta to share the information.
Here you find some examples of best practices and experiences in the field of social theatre and media that were carried out in Valencia in the few past years.
- International Social Theatre Festival. Valencia, 2012:
Program: http://cocoes.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/dip_Programa_espanol.pdf
Promotional Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0KdJ1iSFds
- "Con el agua al cuello" ("In Deep Water"). A social theatre performance carried out by Engineers Without Borders and students from Universidad Politécnica of Valencia to raise awareness against the water privatization. Valencia, 2010

- "New Life". Short documentary on inmigration, that was shot and edited by Jarit Asociación Civil in the framework of an Education for Development project. In this case young people used the audiovisual as a means to tell their own story as inmigrants and raise awareness on inmigrantion in all its aspects (reasons to emigrate, expectations, problems, racism, etc.)

All the videos are in Spanish, but as Roberta said, I hope to explain more and ask possible questions during the Forum.
Look forward to seeing you in Strasbourg!

Hello everybody! I have tried you make a selection of various materials collected. My town is La Spezia, but I live in Pisa to study, for this reason I decided to collect documents relating to these two realities.
ReplyDeleteAs far as La Spezia, I focused on a neighborhood of the city, the district Umberto (quartiere umbertino), where a workshop area was born and developed with the aim of involving its people of different nationalities and backgrounds. In this regard, there is a film by a young filmmaker and photographer from La Spezia to whom I present the trailer.
With regard to Pisa carry the link of an association that takes care of common goods and recovery of public spaces.
In both these situations the involvement of young people is essential. During the forum, I would like to acquire methods and tools to give an incisive contribution to these experiences.
